how to give
SIX WAYS TO GIVE AT ST SIMON'S
MEMORIAL & HONOR GIFTS - Pay tribute to a family member, friend or mentor by making a note on the memo line of your check. Please provide information about the person you wish to honor or remember and contact information for anyone you would like St. Simon’s Church to notify about your tribute.
MATCHING GIFTS - Many corporations and businesses have programs to match employee gifts of cash. Please ask your employer or human resources department about this possibility.
TRANSFERRING APPRECIATED STOCK – The IRS allows a notable tax break for anyone making a charitable gift of appreciated stock. Donors may deduct the full market value of stock gifts with no tax on capital gains.
MONTHLY BANK OR CREDIT CARD DRAFTS – St. Simon’s business office can assist you with making regular monthly charitable contributions through your bank on-line or through credit/debit cards.
GIFTS IN KIND – St. Simon’s welcomes many in kind gifts of tangible personal property including functioning vehicles, laptop computers, jewelry, objects of fine art, liturgical furnishings and real estate.
LIFE INSURANCE – Use a life insurance policy to make a gift by naming St. Simon’s Church the owner and beneficiary of the policy.
