The Bondeau Project

Bondeau Haiti is three hours southwest of Port Au Prince – It is one of the poorest areas in rural Haiti. In 2010 the Bondeau Project identified this community as a place to grow the Kingdom of God. Together with community residents, the Bondeau Project has worked to bring education, healthcare, solar power, and clean water to over 2,000 men, women, and children.

he Rev. Clelia Garrity, deacon at St. Simon’s on the Sound and Jennifer Knight, ARNP-CP, wife of The Rev. David Knight, rector of St. Simon’s, are coordinators of the Bondeau Project medical mission team. They are busy organizing the August 21-25 medical mission to Bondeau. Together with Haitian medical personnel, the team intends to treat over 400 women and children in a brief three-day period.

Deacon Clelia and Jennifer need your support.

They need: Tylenol & Ibuprophen (lots and lots of it); Tums (more than you can imagine); Children’s cold medicine (enough for many sick children); and Pre-natal Vitamins (enough for many pregnant moms)

Contributions can be dropped off at St. Simon’s on the Sound and left in the main office. Or, if you would like to make a tax-deductible donation, please make your check payable to: St. Simon’s on the Sound, with Bondeau Project in the memo line. If you have questions, please contact Deacon Clelia at 561-271-2890/
